According to a new study most pet parents would do just that. A recent news story expanded on the fact that many of us wouldn’t be whole without the support our pets provide, arguing that the main reasons people ditch humans for a pet is the unconditional love and admiration that they provide.
An expert in the field elaborated that, “Our dog or cat accepts us “warts and all,” expects nothing in return and is happy just to have the opportunity to lick your face. That is the very definition of unconditional love, and it is rarely replicated in human relationships.”
Most people would agree that if you want a relationship to be successful one must first accept and then try to embrace their partner in all facets of life.
